Job summary

BLS certification within 60 days is required; CNA preferred and bilingual skills are a plus. The role requires high school diploma or GED, computer literacy, and a willingness to learn medical terminology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or proof of higher education, BLS for Healthcare Provider by 60 days after hire.
• Computer literacy preferred.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
• CNA preferred.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Documents patient care activities accurately using forms or information systems.
• Performs clinical skills including vital signs, aseptic technique, specimen collection, and basic therapies.
• Performs activities of daily living and post-admission tasks.
• Gathers data such as intake, output, vitals, height/weight, and point-of-care results.
• Assists with admission, transfer, or discharge of patients.
