Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required within 60 days after hire.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Documents patient care activities and data accurately using appropriate forms or information systems.
• Performs clinical skills such as vital sign measurement, aseptic technique, specimen collection, and basic respiratory support.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, grooming, oral care).
• Completes assigned duties within the time frame set by the RN and assists with admissions, transfers, or discharges.
• Observes patients closely and reports changes promptly to the care team.
