Job summary

Holland Hospital’s ICU and Telemetry unit seeks a patient care assistant to support direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS within 60 days of hire, and the ability to work 7pm–7:30am, two shifts weekly, with every third weekend.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BLS for Healthcare Provider within 60 days of hire.
• CNA preferred.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Document patient care activities and data accurately.
• Perform clinical skills including vital signs, aseptic technique, specimen collection, and basic respiratory care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, hygiene).
• Gathers data: intake/output, vitals, weight; supports admissions/discharges.
