Nicolet Area Technical College in Wisconsin is seeking a Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to maintain the security, reliability, and performance of the college’s network and technology infrastructure. Under the general supervision of the Manager of Technology Operations, the Network and Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for maintaining the security, reliability, and performance of the College’s network and technology infrastructure. This position plays a critical role in advancing and continuously improving the College’s cybersecurity posture by monitoring threats, managing vulnerabilities, strengthening security controls, responding to incidents, and supporting compliance with institutional policies and industry best practices. The role recommends, implements, and supports network and security solutions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of college technology resources. In collaboration with other departments, the position also promotes cybersecurity awareness by educating users on security risks and best practices.

Sound knowledge of IT systems (hardware/software/security), and cloud technology. Sound understanding of networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems. The salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, $71,822- $94,390 Includes a comprehensive benefits package.
