We are looking for a full-time Microbiology Technician at 2057 Builders Place, Columbus, OH 43204, USA. Your mission will be to:
Purpose (Objective): The incumbent prepares samples for processing and maintains documentation of processes to facilitate testing procedures.
Required Education/Qualifications: HS Diploma with 1+ year of relevant work experience. Basic knowledge of science, personal computers, laboratory safety procedures, and planning skills are necessary.
Required Skills: Time management, attention to detail, analytical skills, knowledge of LIMS, and physical dexterity.
The incumbent works in a laboratory setting with proper lighting and temperature control. Occasional exposure to fumes, chemicals, and materials occurs. Safety equipment such as gloves, lab coats, and glasses may be required. The role involves using autoclaves, lifting up to 50 pounds, extended standing, and detecting color variations.
