We are looking for an ambitious and team-oriented member for our Release of Information – ROI STAT Fax processing family! On the STAT Fax team, we process a high-volume of incoming medical records requests from community providers, hospitals and specialists all across the country. Ensuring we provide these records in a timely manner to allow for our patients’ continuity of care is what drives us each day.
As a fully Remote - Release of Information – ROI Technician | Medical Records / HIMS you will be responsible for compiling, processing, maintaining and confirming the proper release of patients’ medical records remotely. You provides support to Document Imaging for day shift, to maintain continuity of care and integrity of patient health record. HIMS Technicians will ensure all regulatory requirements of Banner are followed, as well as reconcile medical record activity, maintain records in centralized locations, retrieve charts, and scan, index, and validate records. Familiarity with Cerner and/or MRO is a bonus! Bring your medical records knowledge, attention to detail and technical skills to a rewarding career at Banner!
Location: Remote (hours worked will be based on AZ MST time zone)
Full-time: 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri. Holiday/Weekends rotating
Requirements: 1 yr Medical Records and 1 yr release of information experience.
