Job summary

Center for Community Resources Crisis Intervention Services in Butler County, PA seeks a compassionate Crisis Intervention Specialist (full-time). Responsibilities include phone, walk-in, and mobile assessments, crisis counseling, and referral to mental health and substance use services.

A Bachelor’s degree and clearances are required; evening/overnight shifts offer a differential. Starting pay is $24.04 per hour, with potential higher salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology or related field is required.
• 1 year crisis services experience preferred with a bachelor’s degree.
• Act 33/34 and FBI clearances and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and PA resources is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention via telephone, walk-in, and mobile assessment.
• Link clients to mental health, drug, and alcohol services.
• Work in a supportive team to assist Butler County residents with access to care.
