Job summary

Center for Community Resources – Greene County Crisis Services seeks a compassionate Crisis Intervention Specialist for a full-time, daylight shift in Waynesburg, PA. The role covers crisis assessments, counseling, referrals, and linkage to community resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field with major coursework in sociology, social work, psychology or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance; Act 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
• 1 year experience in mental health field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide Crisis Intervention through phone, walk-in, mobile, and text/chat.
• Complete safety assessments using NSPL tool and safety planning.
• Complete reports and documentation in a timely fashion and coordinate with community services.
• Maintain quality standards and participate in professional development.
• Work rotating shifts including evenings; some on-call duties.
