Job summary

HRM Services LLC. is hiring a Full Time Maintenance Technician to preserve the condition and functionality of affordable housing properties. The ideal candidate works autonomously in a fast-paced environment and will handle mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing tasks, and a range of maintenance duties.

Starting pay is $18 per hour with a 8-hour shift Monday to Friday. Benefits include a 401(k) match, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, and PTO accrual within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience preferred and detail-oriented mindset.
• Basic technology skills (smartphone/computer).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; HVAC or CMPR qualifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance and installation of systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, change filter furnaces etc.), assist in setup of systems and conduct repairs when necessary, maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Ability to navigate smartphone, electronic work orders.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows).
• Willing to perform a variety of maintenance tasks including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, inspections, landscaping, snow removal, etc.
