Job summary

Lathrop Community in Easthampton, MA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Tech for senior living. The role supports two campuses with 40 hours weekly, offering full benefits and a compensation of $21-23/hour.

You will perform plumbing, carpentry, electrical tasks and interior/exterior painting, while building strong ties with staff, residents, and vendors. The position requires a valid driver’s license, CORI background check, and a focus on safe, high-quality maintenance to improve living spaces

Description

Lathrop Community, a retirement community grounded in Quaker values and a commitment to enhancing the experience of aging, has an opening for a full time technician to join the team that maintains our campuses in Northampton and Easthampton, MA. This position is 40 hours a week, fully benefited, at $21-23/hour.

You will be a key part of a central department at Lathrop, you will form relationships with staff, residents, and vendors while using and building upon your technical skills to improve and maintain the physical environment for all community members.

What you’ll bring:

• Basic working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electricity,
• Interior and exterior painting skills
• Safe use of power tools
• Valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to our insurance company
