Job summary

Silverado Hermann Park in Houston, TX, a memory care innovator, is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to keep the community safe, functional and welcoming for residents, families, and staff. You will work hands-on under the Director of Plant Operations, performing general maintenance, inspections, and safety tasks to maintain a quality living environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong English

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in hospital, institutional, or multi-unit residential settings.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.

Schedule: Full Time, AM shift, Sunday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Anticipated pay range: $17 USD - $20 USD
