Silverado Newport Mesa in California is seeking a Part-time Resident Engagement Assistant to craft joyful, meaningful daily moments for residents with memory impairment. You will plan activities, lead small-group sessions, and support music and therapy programs in a caring, team-driven environment.

The role emphasizes empathy, creativity, and dependable attendance, with a part-time AM shift and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent required.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Previous experience with older adults or memory care preferred.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Anticipated pay range: $20—$22 USD
