Job summary

Silverado Hermann Park is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep the memory care community safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, families, and staff. This role blends hands-on maintenance with a heart for service and works under the Director of Plant Operations.

You will perform routine maintenance, support safety, and assist with repairs and inspections to ensure a welcoming environment for all. This position values reliability, initiative, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in hospital, institutional, or multi-unit settings.
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the community in excellent condition.
• Support safety, cleanliness, and functionality across all areas of the property.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the community in excellent condition
• Support safety, cleanliness, and functionality across all areas of the property
• Work under the direction of the Director of Plant Operations
• Assist with repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance
• Ensure a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience in hospital, institutional, or multi-unit residential settings
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Knowledge of general maintenance procedures
• Comfortable working around animals and pets

Schedule: Full Time, AM shift, Sunday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Anticipated pay range $17 - $20 USD
