Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, high‑quality nursing care to residents at the Orland Park community. You will follow individualized care plans, monitor residents, administer medications, coordinate with physicians and families, and work with an interdisciplinary team to promote safety and well‑being.

Full‑time hours are 7am–3pm, every other weekend, with hourly pay ranging from $36 to $38.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, or a Professional Registered Nurse as per state regulations.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Licensed Nurse experience required.
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a skilled nursing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of residents’ physical and psychosocial status and monitor for changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document appropriately.
• Coordinate and communicate resident care needs with physicians, families, pharmacies, and other care providers.
• Support health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness initiatives within the community.
