Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Florida is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a senior living community. You’ll support resident safety, dignity, and well-being per individualized care plans.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, coordinate with physicians and families, and help implement care plans and wellness initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance. Nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license, or RN per state regulations.
• Minimum of two years of licensed nurse experience.
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible schedules.
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to respond to medical emergencies.
• Ability to lift or assist residents as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per resident care plans.
• Assess residents' physical and psychosocial status.
• Administer medications and treatments.
