Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks full-time Flex Houseparents—a married couple living on campus to supervise and guide a group of 8–13 students. The role blends care, mentorship, and logistical duties, including scheduling, devotions, outings, and coordinating budgets.

Two spouses work together, must be legally married at least two years, both at least 27, and hold a high school diploma or GED. A competitive compensation package includes housing, meals, benefits, and training

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples married for at least two years; two-person role.
• Spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver"s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
