Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for married couples to live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for groups of 8-13 students.

Two-spouse roles require both spouses to be married at least two years and 27+ years old, with a high school diploma or GED. Responsibilities include daily supervision, activities planning, devotions, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse requirement with at least two years of marriage.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellbeing.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
