Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a married couple to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. The role involves supervision, mentorship, and helping manage 8–13 students in a family-style environment to support academic, emotional, and social development.

The position requires two spouses who are legally married for at least two years, both aged 27 or older, holding a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; staff serve as role models for students.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
