Tharp Consulting is seeking a proactive Cashier/Stocker to support daily store operations in Abbeville, SC. You will unload trucks, stock merchandise, assist customers, and handle cash transactions with accuracy while maintaining a clean, organized storefront.

The role includes contributing to displays, rotating stock, and stepping in for leadership in their absence to ensure smooth store functioning.

Role Overview:

Serve as a Cashier and/or Stocker with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist with plan-o-gram setup, merchandise stocking, and display creation to ensure store organization and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, unpack cartons, and stock merchandise, including rotation and display setup.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and providing exceptional service.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions, collect payments, and provide bagging services.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including dusting, mopping, trash removal, and restroom upkeep.
• Support store setup activities such as sidewalk displays and front-end cleanliness.
• Implement and maintain plan-o-grams and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Assist in opening and closing the store, including cash reconciliation, deposits, and security protocols.
• In the absence of management, authorize refunds, oversee cash accountability, monitor security cameras, and complete necessary documentation.
