Job summary

Ocean Downs Casino in Berlin, Maryland is seeking a friendly server to join our Food & Beverage team. The position pays $6.00 per hour plus tips, offering an exciting hospitality environment near the Ocean City boardwalk.

As part of our team you will deliver outstanding guest experiences, operate the POS system, and assist with revenue tracking while maintaining a clean, safe work area and adhering to Maryland law and company policy.

Qualifications

• Previous server experience preferred.
• Proficient in reading/writing/speaking English to perform duties.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to obtain Maryland Lottery Agency license.
• Flexibility for varied scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, entertaining environment and deliver service excellence.
• Greet and serve guests in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Operate POS system and handle cash and transactions accurately.
• Record all F&B revenues and receipts accurately.
• Prepare settlement paperwork in an organized manner.
• Monitor alcohol consumption per policy and Maryland law.
• Maintain inventory and restock items as needed.
• Keep work area clean and sanitary.
• Relay guest compliments and complaints to management.
• Promote outstanding customer relations and teamwork.
