Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort in San Diego is seeking a Kitchen Utility I to support chefs and cooks by keeping the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well organized. You will handle sanitation of equipment, stock supplies, and assist with banquet events, ensuring food areas remain presentable and compliant with HACCP standards.

Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma, a Food Handler’s Certificate, and at least six months of cleaning experience in a restaurant or housekeeping setting.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all kitchenware and banquet supplies.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and surfaces; manage waste and stock as needed.
• Assist chefs and utility supervisor with banquet events setup, breakdown and restock of equipment and food.
