Job summary

Tyson Mutrux is seeking a remote Leads Intake Specialist for a busy personal injury practice. The successful candidate will receive real-world experience, comprehensive training, and exposure to the inner workings of a busy plaintiff's firm. All equipment and systems are provided.

The role emphasizes collecting injury details, evaluating potential cases, and coordinating next steps with attorneys, while maintaining compassionate client support throughout the post-injury process.

Responsibilities

• If the caller could have a non-injury legal matter, route to the appropriate attorney.
• All potential clients speak with an Intake Specialist before case review.
• Perform scheduled check-in calls to clients to assess wellbeing post-injury.

About Tyson Mutrux

I’ve always wanted to be an attorney, but when I was younger I didn’t think it was possible. Neither one of my parents graduated from high school and money wasn’t something we had a lot of. My dad and my mom both worked two jobs and taught me the value of hard work. As a mechanic, my dad knew how grueling manual labor can be, so he intentionally wouldn’t let me work on cars so that I wouldn’t follow in his footsteps.

I owe a lot to my parents, my wife, my family and my friends for where I am today. But I can point to two moments in my life that led me becoming a lawyer. The first may seem trivial to most, but it isn’t to me. On my high school graduation day, I received a book from one of my favorite teachers, Mrs. Morgan. The book? The Street Lawyer, by John Grisham. The plot of the book isn’t what mattered; it was the message. Mrs. Morgan had always encouraged me to become a lawyer, and this was another nudge down that path. With the simple act of giving me that book, she was telling me to follow my dream. [The book is great, by the way – I still have the original she gave me.

Job Description

This is a remote position.

We’re in search of an enthusiastic Full Time Leads Intake Specialist. The successful candidate will receive real-world experience, exceptional training, and valuable exposure to the inner workings of a busy personal injury firm. All equipment and computers will be provided by the law firm.

This opportunity will provide the applicant with a rewarding experience that will allow them to help others in a busy environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Leads Specialists are responsible for obtaining all information concerning when, where, and how an injury occurred. They are responsible for noting injuries, along with other important details to help determine what type of case the caller may have, if any. If the caller potentially has a case for a legal matter not related to an injury, the Leads Specialist will send contact information for a different attorney who could potentially help. All potential clients speak with an Intake Specialist before the case is sent to the legal team for review.

The Lead Intake Specialists also perform scheduled check in calls to our clients. These calls are not to give the client information on their case status, although they may ask. These calls are set in place to check on the emotional and physical wellbeing of our clients post-injury. This is one way our firm is set apart from other injury law firms. We believe in supporting our clients as fully as possible throughout the duration of their case.
