Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a dedicated Full-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve Joliet, IL and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, delivering compassionate, client-centered veterinary services in clients' homes.

As part of a supportive network of veterinarians, you gain ongoing mentorship, onboarding, and flexible scheduling designed to honor work-life balance while delivering meaningful care to families and their pets.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) certification.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Practice mobile veterinary medicine in clients' homes across Joliet, IL and surrounding areas.
• Maintain thorough medical records and coordinate with mentors and practice managers.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Joliet, IL, including Kankakee, New Lenox, Bourbonnais, Plainfield, Frankfort, and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $75,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $90,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule
