Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve St. Louis, Ballwin, Saint Charles, and surrounding areas.

This mobile role provides hospice and euthanasia care in clients’ homes, promoting work‑life balance and professional fulfillment. You’ll join a growing network of veterinarians, receive mentorship, flexible scheduling (2–5 days per week), and a base salary with bonus opportunities depending on schedule structure.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver license required.
• Weekend availability may be needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in clients' homes.
• Practice medicine with compassion in a mobile hospice setting.
• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in St. Louis, Ballwin, Saint Charles, Chesterfield, Webster Groves, Fenton, MO and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
