Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care in Royal Oak, Detroit, Warren, Clinton Township, Macomb, Sterling Heights, MI and surrounding areas. You’ll work independently with support from a team of mentors while enjoying flexible scheduling and meaningful, emotionally rewarding patient care.

Requirements include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in a mobile/home setting
• Practice medicine with compassion and align with Lap of Love values

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Royal Oak, Detroit, Warren, Clinton Township, Macomb, Sterling Heights, MI and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule
