Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Buffalo and surrounding areas seeks an In-Home Associate Veterinarian. As a mobile hospice veterinarian, you'll provide compassionate end-of-life care and euthanasia in clients' homes, helping families during meaningful moments.

We offer flexible 2-5 day schedules, mentorship, onboarding, and a supportive team. Base salaries start at 85k for 4 days or 100k for 5 days, with additional bonus opportunities; 3-day and part-time options prorated.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Weekend availability.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check may be required.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Tonawanda, North Tonawanda, Hamburg, Lancaster, Lockport, NY and surrounding areas. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $85,000 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $100,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
