Allure of Mendota is seeking dependable Housekeeping & Laundry Aide to support daily housekeeping and laundry operations for residents and staff. The role offers Day/PM shifts and a full-time schedule, with responsibilities spanning cleaning rooms, common areas, and facility equipment while maintaining safety and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to safely use cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Team-oriented with a positive and respectful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment.
• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.
• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions.
• Use appropriate PPE.
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
