Job summary

Allure of Walnut is seeking dependable Housekeeping & Laundry Aide for Day/PM shifts on a part-time schedule. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff, supporting daily housekeeping and laundry operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, following schedules, using proper PPE, and coordinating with nursing staff as needed. English fluency and a compassionate, professional approach are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment.
• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.
• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment
