Job summary

Allure of Mendota is seeking dependable individuals to join our Housekeeping & Laundry Team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff while supporting daily housekeeping and laundry operations.

This is a Day/PM shift, full-time position. Join a caring team in a reputable healthcare setting and grow within our facilities operations.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to safely use cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Team-oriented with a positive and respectful attitude.
• Willingness to work with residents compassionately and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment.
• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.
• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces.
• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
