Job summary

Allure of Mendota is seeking dependable individuals to join the Housekeeping & Laundry Team. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff while supporting daily housekeeping and laundry operations.

The role requires reading, writing, and speaking English, ability to follow instructions, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals. You will work with residents compassionately in a team-oriented setting, with a stable full-time schedule on Day/PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment.
• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.
• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
