Job summary

Allure of Mendota is seeking dependable Housekeeping & Laundry Aides to join our team on Day/PM shifts. This role supports daily housekeeping and laundry operations to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.

You will follow schedules, sanitize rooms and common areas, manage floors, and assist with laundry tasks while adhering to safety and HIPAA guidelines. We value compassion, teamwork, and a professional demeanor in every interaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and equipment.
• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed.
• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas.
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Mix cleaning solutions and disinfectants according to instructions.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Allure of Mendota is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Housekeeping & Laundry Team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff while supporting daily housekeeping and laundry operations.

Schedule

• Day/PM Shift
• Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Follow daily housekeeping and cleaning schedules
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility equipment
• Sweep, mop, dust, strip, wax, and buff floors as needed
• Clean fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces
• Collect and dispose of trash properly
• Coordinate housekeeping duties with nursing staff when working in resident areas
• Follow safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment
