Commonwealth Senior Living at Cedar Bluff in Virginia Beach is seeking a dedicated full-time housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment throughout the community. The role reports to the Maintenance Director and requires prior housekeeping experience and English proficiency.

Typical shift is 6am–2pm with rotating weekends. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), paid time off, EAP, and additional voluntary benefits.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions with established procedures.
• Follow safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment.
• Clean floors, carpets, furnishings, and rooms including bathrooms and windows.
• Collect and dispose of trash daily.
• Maintain cleanliness of walls, windows, baseboards and mirrors.
• Assist in setting up dining/activity/living rooms as needed.
• Report needed repairs to maintenance or Executive Director.
• Keep equipment and storage areas clean and uncluttered.
• Respond to residents’ needs and Launder community linens.
• Inform Executive Director of supply needs and report accidents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
