Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Customer Service in Cleveland, OH to protect patients, visitors and staff while delivering outstanding service in a healthcare setting. You will perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professionalism and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and directions throughout the healthcare location while maintaining a courteous presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately in accordance with site-specific procedures.
