Job summary

Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Customer Service to protect patients, visitors and staff while delivering friendly, professional service in a healthcare setting.

You will conduct patrols, assist with access control, respond to incidents, and maintain a visible, welcoming presence. CPR is preferred; vaccination requirements apply; background checks and a drug screen are standard.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and directions throughout the healthcare location while maintaining a courteous presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately in accordance with site-specific procedures.
