Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time in Warrensville Heights, OH to serve patients, visitors and staff within a hospital setting. You will patrol, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies while providing exceptional customer service.

The role is unarmed, primarily a driving post, with a schedule listed below. You must meet hospital vaccination requirements and be at least 18 years old for unarmed positions.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
