Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for full-time and part-time roles at Ballad Health – Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN. Shifts include 12-hour and 5.5-hour options with rotating weekends. Prior food service experience preferred. Criminal background check and nicotine screening post-offer.

Compensation is $15.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff and growth opportunities within Morrison Healthcare.

Competenze

Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
Basic computer and mathematical skills.
Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Mansioni

Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergy and dietary needs.
Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
Comply with federal, state and JCAHO standards and HIPAA requirements.
Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning stations.
Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
