Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Cook for Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. You will prepare a wide variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring accurate portioning and appealing plating.

This full-time role requires classically trained expertise in a high-volume kitchen, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Weekends and varied shifts are required for coverage.

Qualifications

• Classically trained in a high-volume culinary environment.
• Experience in preparing and portioning meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently cook an assortment of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking
• Plate and garnish cooked items and prepare appropriate garnishes for hot plates
• Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager in their absence to ensure accurate meal prep and delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Follow standardized recipes and ensure quality standards
• Handle last-minute requests for special events and adjust menus
• Rotate stock and manage inventory
• Participate in recipe development and compliance initiatives
