Job summary

The Healthcare Resort of Topeka in Topeka, KS is seeking a dedicated full-time Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program. Join a stable team delivering post-acute and geriatric care focused on recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to OTs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders; develop care plans.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary interventions.
• Assist with standing, walking, lifting, transferring, and positioning as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehab plan: manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and wound care.
• Offer counseling to patients, families, and other providers about physical disorders.
• Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries compliant with regulations.
