Job summary

Lexington Park Health & Rehab in Topeka, KS seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents and develop, implement, and supervise individualized treatment plans using therapeutic activities to restore daily living skills. You will coordinate with the rehab team and document treatments and billing.

Responsibilities include ADL and mobility retraining, neuromuscular re-education, energy conservation, and supervising COTA staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Regular worksite attendance.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Facility policies, safety, and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect to Administrator or Director of Nursing.
• Treat residents, family, visitors, and staff with dignity and respect.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Evaluate patients within one business day of referral.
• Plan, administer, and supervise COTA in treatment plans.
• Communicate with physicians and rehab team regarding total treatment program.
• Maintain daily records of treatments and billing.
• Achieve efficiency in delivery of occupational therapy services.
