Job summary

Midwest Health Consulting in Topeka, KS is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help injured, ill, or disabled residents by using therapeutic activities to build daily living skills and functional independence. You will assess patients, develop personalized treatment plans, and work with the rehab team to ensure quality care.

You will document treatments accurately, supervise/coordinate with the COTA, and adapt programs for geriatric and general patient needs, while complying with facility

Responsibilities

• Treat residents using therapeutic activities to develop, recover and improve daily living skills.
• Evaluate the patient within one business day of written referral from the Doctor.
• Plan, administer and supervise the COTA in an appropriate treatment plan.
• Communicate with referring physician and rehabilitation team regarding the patient’s total treatment program.
• Maintain an accurate daily record of treatments given to patients including billing and charting.
