Job summary

Comstock is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Saturday and Sunday, 3pm–11pm, at the Washington, DC location. The role emphasizes safety, access control, and customer-focused service for residents, tenants, and guests.

Responsibilities include patrolling the property, enforcing rules, and coordinating with management on security-related matters. A DC security officer certification and a High School Diploma are required, with prior customer-service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be certified security officer by the District of Columbia.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver’s license without major violations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol property on an hourly basis and monitor security systems.
• Control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Maintain safety and order, issue notices for violations.
• Assist with events and manage plaza areas as needed.
• Report safety concerns to management.
