CloseKnit is seeking a Float Medical Assistant in Rockville, MD to support clinicians across multiple practices. This full-time role involves clinical and administrative duties, patient intake, venipuncture, injections, and EKGs, with adherence to HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Occasional weekend shifts may be required and travel to Germantown and Montgomery Village locations is noted. Ideal candidates hold a Medical Assistant credential (CCMA/CMA/RMA) with 2+ years of MA experience and current

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• 2+ years Medical Assistant experience.
• Experience using EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians with exams, testing, and procedures.
• Perform clinical intake including vitals and histories.
• Administer injections and venipuncture.
• Manage patient records and scheduling.
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance.
