Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, invites married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus. You will live in on-campus homes, supervise a group of 8–13 students, and help shape their academic, emotional, and social growth through daily routines, activities, and devotions.

The role requires two years of married partnership, ages 27+, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs; relocation and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required and able to become certified to drive student home vans
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel with students
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
