Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes and provide care, supervision, and guidance for about 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and planning devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role progresses to a placed houseparent with a consistent student group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth (pre-K to 12).
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain campus safety.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
