Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students. This role creates a structured, family-like environment to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, medications, transport, devotions, chapel attendance, budgeting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children in home
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
• Manage household routines and student schedules
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness
• Drive students to activities and lead development and recreation
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting
