Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks full-time Flex Houseparents who live on campus to care for a group of 8-13 students. The role includes supervision, scheduling, medical oversight, transportation, and community activities, in a structured, family-like setting.

Couples must be legally married for at least two years, both partners aged 27+, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. On-site housing and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
