Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking a dedicated Flex Houseparent couple to live on campus and provide care, supervision, and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students. You will manage daily routines, support development, and lead devotional and chapel activities.

The role requires a married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27+, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Housing and benefits are included as part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
