Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Surgery department in Naperville, IL. Candidates must hold an Illinois RN license and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Must have current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association.
• Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within ninety days of start date.
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification within ninety days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
