Job summary

Hillsborough County Public Schools, Valrico Cimino Elementary, Valrico, FL, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat students across grade levels on a two-site schedule (3 days at Cimino, 2 days at Stowers).

Qualifications

• Requires Florida licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience evaluating and treating students with speech-language disorders.
• Ability to develop IEP-based therapy plans.
• Willingness to travel between Cimino and Stowers Elementary.
• Maintain confidentiality and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts screenings and evaluations for students referred through school teams.
• Reports and interprets findings to parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
• Develops educationally relevant therapy plans in line with IEP processes.
• Provides services and direct instruction to students with speech-language disabilities.
• Monitors progress and adjusts treatment plans to meet goals.
• Maintains documentation of progress data and service records.
• Trains and supervises clinical fellows/graduate students as assigned.
• Collaborates with teachers to support communication goals in the classroom.
• Participates in professional learning activities to maintain licensure.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
