Job summary

Hillsborough County Public Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support students across King High School, TBT, and Ferrell Middle School. The incumbent will conduct evaluations, provide educationally relevant treatment, and work within IEP processes to improve students’ communication outcomes.

Licensure in Florida and ASHA credentials are preferred, with a focus on collaboration with teachers and specialists.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent required.
  • Current Florida licensure or eligible for Florida Educator Certificate in Speech Language Impaired K-12.
  • ASHA CCC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides speech, language, hearing, and communication screenings and evaluations as referred by school teams.
  • Reports and interprets findings to parents, teachers, and stakeholders.
  • Develops therapy plans and recommendations consistent with IEP processes.
  • Delivers services using varied delivery models and monitors progress toward goals.
  • Maintains documentation and confidentiality in accordance with policy.
  • Trains and supervises support personnel and may supervise clinical fellows.
